Ninang Duties!

Christmas is fast approaching, and people nowadays are having a hard time thinking of what gift to buy for their parents, love ones, friends and especially for their "inaanak" (goddaughter/son) . I am only 19 but i have so many inaanaks, I don't know why, but most of my friends ask me to be their daughter's godmother. one of them is my childhood friend, Ems. Her 2 month old baby girl Hannah Eyniemar is my latest goddaughter.

November 20, 2013. Hannah's baptism was held at Immaculate Concepcion Parish, Pasig City.

welcome to the Christian world Hannah Eyniemar!

The godparents with our serious look during the event. lol

Official Ninong and Ninangs.

The reception follows at San Jose Pasig. It was my first time to go there and I was amused with the place. The ambiance is cool and really peaceful. (I don't know if I was the only one that noticed that) but I do really love the place, with that vintage-y effect to the guests, it really suits all occasions.

Family picture. with the traditional "slicing of the cake" pose. Hahaha

my favorite part in every occasion, eating time! lol. this is the dessert area
of the catering service, too bad I forgot to take pictures of the main course.

Picture taking after eating. :)

met new friends after the party.

my boyfriend matching outfit with me.
his first ootd. hahaha!
His signature look, simple polo shirt from mint and mustard yellow skinny pants with gray vans. He said that he want to be featured in my blog, so here you go, your wish is my command!

And of course, this blog wouldn't be complete without featuring my outfit post. This is what I wore during Hannah's Christening. Its super simple but I think It suits the occasion. (I think :p) Since Kathryn Bernado's signature outfit in G2B is kinda trending, She's  my peg last Wednesday. Blue denim blouse paired with maxi skirt and Parisian sandals, I add the belt to highlight the whole outfit, plus my cream Parisian Celine Inspired bag, to complete the outfit. Hope you guys like it!

This was a candid shot, I laughed because my boyfriend took years to capture one shot. lol. hahaha.

loved this part of the venue.

Outfit of the day : Compiled

"Style is a way to say who you are, without having to speak" -Rachel Zoe
As they say, you can truly see the personality of a person, based on how she dresses, or the styles of what she usually wear. I slightly agree on that, I usually wear bright colored clothes, sometimes pastels,it depends on my mood. I seldom wear black, maybe because its not suitable for my personality, my friends know how cheerful I am, and it reflects on how I choose what to wear. Here are some of my OOTD posts from instagram and facebook. (you can follow me on ig: @heyyzelnut and add me on fb: hazel.imba)
P.S: Most of my clothes are thrifted (tiangge) because I cant afford to buy branded yet, maybe someday when I have a stable job :P LOL

NEON IS ON
Neon is very attention catcher, even it's not summer, I wear neon colored clothes, I don't know, i'm just so in love with neon stuff. Since my high waist shorts is already printed, I didn't have to wear any accessories with me, because I find it too over designed if I match that outfit with a necklace or arm candies. The simple, the better .

OUTFIT DETAILS:
Midriff : Thrift shop
High waist shorts: Becky Vintage (online shop)
Belt: Mogao
Flatforms: Thrifted

MIDRIFF FEVER
Midriff fever is back, looks like its 90's again, Britney's Era. lol. Even I'm not skinny and sexy, I love wearing midriff not to show my navel, but because high waist shorts, skirts, pants are my favorites. As I've said, I am not skinny, so I can't wear that midriff without wearing cardigan, sweater or jacket to hide my baby fats. lol.

OUTFIT DETAILS:
Midriff: Thrifted
High waist shorts: Next Jeans
Cardigan: Pop Shop

SKATER GIRL
I always plan to wear boyish clothes but every time I try, my inner goddess always reminds me to wear my skirts. (skirt addiction) This ootd post, I wanted to look like a skater boy, but I obviously failed. V-neck shirt matched with gray skater skirt and vans with mid-length socks.

OUTFIT DETAILS:

V-neck: Hanes
Skater Skirt: Thrifted

LOVE FOR FRIES
French fries is one of the greatest creation here on earth, since I saw this shirt, I fell in love with it and I bought it in a very affordable price. Lazy outfit I wore on a rainy day, I matched the outfit with a nerdy glasses to make it more simple but classy.
